I am going to share this story for you my readers; this is one of the many stories that had been shared yesterday by Light of Jesus Feast Builder Bro. Eng Si of THE FEAST Valenzuela, during the second session of the RESTORED entitled REDEFINE.
There is one family man, he is jobless, and desperate to land a job, he was headhunting for jobs for quiet a time already, and then, One day, while browsing through the ads in the classified section of the newspaper he saw this:
WANTED: Janitor (URGENT)
So, he immediately went to the office, and then when he got there, he was of course interviewed by the HR officer, and after that interview, the HR Officer told him that he qualified and he is hired and he can start the next day, of course he is very happy for that good news because he is very much in need of job at that time, then as he was to leave the HR officer told him what should he bring as he report the following day.
HR Officer: Do you have an e-mail, so I could send you the requirements?
The man, look at the HR officer
Man: No Sir, I don't have an e-mail.
The HR Officer, was shocked and a bit wild, yelled at him
HR Officer: What you don't have an e-mail? You don't have the right to live in this world if you don't have an e-mail. I am not going to hire you.
The man was bewildered by the action of the HR officer, but he accepted the fate, what could he do, he don't have an e-mail, so he left the office very sad, thinking about what will happen to him, to his family, he decided to go home, but as he walk, he remember his son, waiting for him hoping that he had brought anything to feast on, and then he clutch on his pants pocket, and feel the money inside, he brought it out and see a three, one hundred peso bill, which sums to P300.00, while holding the money he is thinking of the way on how he is going to make the most out of it, then he went to the nearby market, and bought P300 worth of tomatoes, re-packed it and sold to the houses he passed on, and in just two hours, all the tomatoes had been sold-out, and when he count his money he had P600.00, and it was still early so he went back to the market again and bought P600.00 worth of tomatoes, and sold it in the houses along the neighborhood, and then a few hours had passed and all the tomatoes were sold out, and still it is early to went home so he want back to the market and bought P600.00 worth of tomatoes, he sold it again to the nearby barangays and he continue to do that, and when he counted his money, his P300.00 is now P2,400.00, he is very happy at what happened, then he went home, these he continue to do, after a time and of course enough money, he invested and become a vegetable dealer, he was able to bought his own delivery truck and they don not have problem anymore in terms of money, he became rich, then one day his friend who owns an insurance company approached him:
Friend: You know what; you should apply insurance for your business? It is growing and the insurance will help you
Without thinking any further, he answered,
Man: Oh sure, I'll get an insurance
Friend: Okay then, I'll send my agent to you.
The next day, the agent came over to his house.
Agent: Hi Sir, I am the one sent by your friend regarding the insurance
Man: So you are the agent? Ok What now?
The agent then, brought out his pen and the application form and started asking information and taking it down from the man, such as the his name and other vital information, and then he ask:
Agent: E-mail address sir?
Man: I don't have an email.
Agent: (Agent was shocked) What sir, you don't have an e-mail, how could you become so rich and yet you don't have an e-mail, do you know what in this world you are right now, if you do have an e-mail?
Man: Yes I know, I AM A JANITOR!
